PADS, PAWS AND MORE!

The pads of the Yorkies, Maltese, Poodles and even the long haired Chihuahuas feet should be trimmed to keep stickers and other objects from getting caught in the foot.

Trim under the paw in between the pads. Trim around the top of the paw with blunt end scissors in a half circle in front to give the feet a round fluffy look. This will also help keep the hair off the ground and clean.

I always trim around the private parts using scissors only.  Trim the hair around the anal area in a circle about the size of a dime.  Keep the hair trimmed around a males private area to keep it from getting crusty with urine.
